Question:
We have a router with 2 DS3's.Cisco Switches Price I have the need to bundle T1's. The problem is, I only have 1 T1 left on
DS3-1 and the other available T1s are ont DS3-2. Can I multilink across 2 different T1's on
seperate DS3? If so; Is this an OK
design scenario and what may be some of the caveats with this setup?>
Answer:
Yes thi can be
done but you need to take in consideration if these two links are provided by
same provider and any timings issues(at link or conroller level) is not present
else there will be to many fragments loss and hence too many dropped packets.
Please note
that unless configured otherwis, by default MLPPP does not fragment packets,
but just ensure in-order Cisco Switches arrival.
